2. It’s unacceptable that one needs an online account to access a local computer. The idea that you’re missing out on an installation “experience” is asinine and a load of bs. The users have a right to “experience” their computers on their own terms, which includes not being tethered to an internet connection or an invasive software company. Ultimately, they will drive their customer base to other platforms such as Linux. I already have multiple Linux machines, and only use Windows for some specific apps. None of my Windows machines have an online account and NEVER will!

18. Thanks man, i bought a laptop from ebay for my son to play roblox , the display went out good thing i had a warranty , sent it to them and it came back with admin locked , and tried everything from chatgpt, usb booting , etc. worked like a charm … earned a new subscriber !

20. as a computer tech, THANK YOU!!! do you have one to fix when you try the old way.. it stays forever of please wait.. you say no and reboot.. (hard off) and get the hp defaultuser0 enter password. (did the reset still issue, used a way to get to the command prompt thing to then remove the password..) would love a great video on how to fix that. (though i will never do that again. i will use this method until it does not work) and always have the modified ISO that bypasses all this to begin with, if you are doing a fresh install.

21. Would this work for windows 11 in s mode? If it would not try disabling secure boot as S mode cannot work with out it enabled and will revert to Home /pro mode.

25. Its "convenient" to use OneDrive. I don't use it, but know allot of business people who do..,. Its just personal users have a major problem with it. Funny huh.. its basically the same Windows basically only with more or less features *based on edition*, and that alone is enough to create a scare..

28. Thank you Chris! As a tech myself I found the bypass nro and always had it work for me and just got this customer's pc and did nro a couple of times and couldn't figure out why it won't do a local account! You are a life saver! now my customer will be happy as pie!

30. Pressing shift+F10 or Fn+shift+F10 does not do anything in my IdeaPad IP1.

31. It was a nice surprise, recently, when upgrading from W10 Pro that was already with local auth main account, to W11, it keeps it that way. Aint it? It would be a mess changing main account to an externally authenticated one in an ongoing system.
