1. The pixel 9 pro XL performs better in heavy workload situations. It might be slower in benchmarks than the G5 but it is more stable. The TSMC solved nothing.

2. I'm on a pixel 7 pro and I've been needing an upgrade for a while. My battery life. If I use it semi-conservatively will get me through the whole day. Fairly easy.

   Should I upgrade it? Wait for Black Friday?

You could have included the (IMHO) highly relevant information that the main wide sensor — the 50-MP Samsung ISOCELL GNV on the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL — is confirmed to be able to output 12-bit DCG/“Smart-ISO Pro” data that third-party apps like MotionCam can actually use for internal 12-bit RAW video recording.
   The 12-bit capability comes from Samsung’s Smart-ISO Pro / DCG implementation built into the GNV sensor family; that extra bit depth is what third-party apps are grabbing when they record 12-bit RAW/4K.
   The recent upload (today) by the MotionCam developer on YouTube demonstrate this to make a huge difference.

8. I've upgraded my pixel 9 pro XL to a 10 pro XL mainly because I had issues with my nine nine when they cloned my six to my nine. I think something happened in the controversy there but that's why I'm going now to the 10 and hopefully that won't happen again

16. The pixels use adaptive battery and it takes a solid week of using it before it starts getting better battery life. so if you just use it a couple days you will not have a good representation at all of what the battery life is.

Here’s an idea,buy the pixel 9 pro XL off Google and get a belkin MagSafe leather case with the Google credit and save 45%.In fact that’s exactly what I did do for 650 for the 128gb version which came with 12 months of Google one 2tb sub,got enough Google credit back(10%) that was able to get the leather MagSafe case,and 45 watt charger.And if you can actually tell the difference between the 10 and 9 your a genius infact the 9 benchmarks higher for some reason,so much for tsmc process been way ahead of 2024 Samsung process

    From the 9 series..? They discontinued the 9 Pro XL for a reason… there's absolutely no real reason to upgrade from the Pixel 9 Pro XL that I can see
    But… it's the golden rule of upgrading techology: always skip at least one generation

34. No chance of upgrading, I need the physical SIM, going eSIM only is a huge mistake. If Google switch to Snapdragon X Elite 3 in Pixel 11 , I'll grab it, but Tensor is worthless, I don't care about AI .

37. As a Pixel 7 Pro owner the only AI feature I actually care about is performance optimisation, which takes a while to kick in to learn & adjust.
    I'm considering upgrading since it'll be a decent upgrade from my 7 Pro but that price is a bit of a sting.

38. So here's my real thoughts on pixel 10 pro xl over my S25 ultra. I got the pixel pro today. Ya already don't like it. Been overheating all day from my normal use and the battery sucks doesn't even last like the ultra does. The xl is allot smaller than the ultra. It says 6.8 display but seems a lot smaller than the ultra when you hold them up to each other. Certain features don't work as well like writing assist for emails. Worked flawless on the s25u I have. Also just scrolling on media pictures and video are low quality when I have everything on max setting. Same things the ultra display never had that issue and crystal clear pics. the ultra is way better guys. Glad I didn't trade it in yet. I'll be sending the pixel back and keeping my ultra. No BS this is a real normal person review. They'll probably delete this comment lol
