  1. She sounds remarkably smooth and throaty even without the muffler. No whine from the tranny either! Thanks for teaching us all your tips and tricks! ~~~Jeff from CT

  2. Pete, I see you say you source parts for your international from different places I have a 340 international farm mall and I have a problem finding parts. Could you tell me where your sources are?

  3. I have been watching for a long time. Great videos. Just watched Super C restoration again. Probably the third time LOL. I can"t stop wondering. Where are the fenders? I may have missed something. Perhaps there is a reason.
Thanks Pete for the entertaining videos. And Hello to Hillary.Have an Excellent day.

  4. I’m in my 40’s, I grew up on IH and JDs that my grandfather and dad had. I rebuilt a M when I was 16, I’ve worked on all the 20 series JDs. Now I’m going to go through my grandads Super C. You inspired me brother.

  5. I have a 1953 super c that I inherited from my father in law and I want to restore it. Maybe not totally like you did because I won’t be using it for farming but more like a hobby for retirement. Can I ask how much money you spent on what you did? Amazing job by the way.

  6. -12K 🤣 That's cold….
And excuse me, you're definitely a mechanic. You can become something through experience as well. It's considered as a form of training these days too btw. I did both (education and experience) and I have to say I learned more through experience although the initial training sped things up. I would put you up against a lot of schooled mechanics. A lot of skills are just simple logic and a certain mindset. I mean, how you dismount things, tune in an engine, the ignition,… is pretty on par.

  7. I missed u switching the 656 to diesel. I have a 656 utility gas that is in need of a rebuild and i was considering shopping for a diesel to swap in it. I can’t find much info on doing the swap. Was it pretty straight forward? What surprise’s did you encounter. Will the gas radiator work ?How about the clutch ?

  8. Never been a bad reason to drive a tractor like that to see what it can do.i don't think a farmer has ever not done a couple brakes spins in the back of the field 😂

  9. Pete, there are a lot of hacks out there that have no idea or couldn't care less about fixing a tractor correctly. They slap a paint job on it and try to sell it as "Fully Restored". Polishing a pig, unfortunately its still a pig. You on the other hand took an old tractor completely apart, piece by piece went through it all, fixed and restored it the "Right Way". I am a professional mechanic, and I it makes me very proud to see someone such as yourself bring back an old machine to greatness. You are the definition of a "Real Mechanic". Congratulations on your masterpiece.

  10. I have 5 bachelor's degrees and a masters. I would gladly trade any of them for the ability to work on my car, or truck or plumbing, or basic woodworking. I wasted a lot of my life learning about history and English and political science.
    Regrets, I have a few … hundred.

  11. And maybe someday I'll have to have You and Henry come up here to Eastwood to see my model car and die cast car collection too!!. You'll both really enjoy that since you're as much as gearheads as my buddy Dan and I!!
