  1. Ah, the days of dealing with the tool truck guys! Truly, you get what you pay for. I have seen over the years, nearly every tech having to learn this lesson. They all started with a mixture of Inherited tools, cheap Chineeseium bargain
Wal-Mart toys. Then, they graduated to real work implements from Snao-on, Matco, Mac,and Cornwell.

  2. Long ago, I worked at a Sears Hardware store. A customer brought in a 3/4'" drive ratchet with the drive bit snapped clean off. He said he had used a 9-foot long cheater pipe on it trying to get the prop nut off of a Cessna. We both laughed and I handed him a brand new one. You pay for a no-matter-what warranty on these tools and that's what you get. Whoever gave you crap about this is a clueless jackhole.

  3. The man works in the trades professionally he needs to have the best tools that money can buy any pays a premium price that buys the warranty and I have spent a bunch of money on tools the best money can buy because I want to use the tools to do my job right and faster so if you guys want to point fingers get out there and do it otherwise shut up have a good day

  4. It's been my experience that the tool truck people are awesome and stand behind their products!! I've never had a issue with getting a tool replaced. Had a few "DAMN!!! How did you do that" followed by some laughing but that's about it.

  5. It seems to me that what Ray does none of my business. Unless I go to his shop and he works on my car than maybe my business. He knows what he is doing so leave him alone. I hope he makes that 2 grand a day doing YouTube. It all has expenses and lots of time

  6. Doesn't matter what you do or say, there'll always be some clown that will call you out because they think they are the moral majority.
Usually some clown with no real life, on the job, hands on experience.
They're like the HR people I've come across, they haven't got a clue what it is you do but their book tells them you're doing it wrong.
Just wave at them Ray, one finger at a time.

  7. HATE to say it but spending double for a SNAP-ON tool just about guarantees you will at a minimum get a 2nd one free, it is built into the original price
Some of us cheap skates would rather buy cheaper tools and take our chances

  8. OMG i live in Sweden but we have reselers here for Snap on, and i didnt know it was those prices on the tools. Now i understand why they have life warranty ^*

  9. Heated comments…..

Everyone has his or her own way to work with tools and in most cases its the right way to work because it works out for the mechanic and the work is good work.
If a tool breaks ……. .thats too bad

  10. You know what pisses me off more is home depo warranty stuff now! For a ratchet I bought 5+years ago the ratchet mechanism is messed up. But since I don’t have my recite they won’t warranty it! So much for a lifetime worry free replacement! All lies!!!! Forget you Home Depot!!!! Husky is the ratchet I got! I don’t wanna have to buy a new ratchet to then return it after a warranty swap. But looks like I’m gonna have to because I didn’t keep a piece of paper recite!

  11. It's the hole idea of having the snap on warranty. Especially when you spend top dollar with them. They now the way it works. I doubt it cost that to produce the tools. It's the way of the world even the UK it's the same thing with snap on tools and there warranty

  12. I didn't see the original vid when you said that…had I, it would have been understood that it was tongue in cheek.Your integrity proceeds you in your videos. Retired here, my S-O tools are gathering dust.
