  1. Im rewatching this video. I wonder how pissed Summit was. Blowing up a Summit Racing 632 infront of all of us. Because you arbitrarily andded a bunch of timing. I think its funny is all.

I don't know how yall set every distributor yall put in 180 out, pull #1 spark plug, plug the spark plug hole with ur finger, bump the starter till u hear compression shoot out, spin motor till harmonic is on 30 or so (for this engine) and set the distributor rotor pointing right at 1, it will NEVER be 180 out and will start up pretty damn close to were u wnat the timing, set with light feom there

  3. They should have just pulled the timing cover aligned the dots and dropped it in on plug #1 ,would have been so much faster and always correct..sure you can do the old watch for the rocker ,but your never 180 off dot to dot ..they need a tee shirt with dot to dot on it 😂

  4. Dude that’s why you always set the timing ,then use a small chisel and a tap to mark the timing on the block and the distributor base,then add a little paint mark,& your always good !!!
