  1. Hey Ray, sorry for taking so long to comment but thanks again for all of your hard work. Hopefully this job was way easier than the timing chain an phaser replacement. I really appreciate you keeping my Expedition running.

  2. Morphed project on 04 Ram 1500 2 wd quadcab, 76k miles. Shorty headers, 2 inch lift spacers, Rancho 9000 shocks for Ram 2500. On 4th set of new tires wearing mad on outer edge, which I expected after new front end. Tech called me over and wiggled upper control arms and said "I can losen and tighten these all day long and it will never align". Ordered camber and castor adjustment kit, 4 pieces, 2 for each leg of upper control arms, did another job while waiting. All the other techs gathered around wide eyed to see what he was doing. Don't know how it works, exactly, cam holds the setting in place until the control arm bolts are torqued. Took 4 hours, just charged for the kit, like $120. He had experience with Gen 3 Rams. We bonded and were chatting afterwords. The rack was cool, like could jack the frame seperately.

  3. I've always wondered what got adjusted during an alignment. It was like it was some kind of closely guarded industry secret or something. So happy you showed us what it takes to get it done!

  4. I recently changed shops I’m at a dealership I still got some learning on the alignment rack we had a John beam at my last shop I was used to now the new one is a hunter and has two arms that clip onto the tire and it’s a little different then what I’m used to and have only had to do one alignment

  5. This is very interesting I haven't seen those eccentric bolts actually adjusted before. You're videos are informative even for car obsessed nerds like me! Lol 😁

  6. I understand how a wheel alignent works in a basic level (I am not a mechanic just an itnerted obsvuver). Do yu need to consider the tyre condition an/or the tyre pressers fo the alimment to be corrected prperly?….Keep up the good work with these videos, they both entertaing and educational, and some I look forward to watching. i.e. I like your sense of humour
