I remember in the 80s my father's car having a sicker on the bottom side of the hood showing belt routing. Do they not do that anymore? (I don't think my Roobisoo has one…)
We had a three digit phone.
There should have been a map of how the belt is installed under the hood someplace. You should have looked up. It is on my 2000 Camaro.
Since when do you have to replace a belt? Because it got wet when it dries. It will not slip and squeal. Therefore, why don't you just change all the pulleys Cause they got wet as well.

After seeing a few GMC vehicles worked on, I really doubt I would want to ever have one.
Here is a trick to try when changing the crush washer on the oil plug. Take the cap off the oil and put a shop vac in the hole where the cap goes. That will allow you to go underneath the vehicle and unscrew the bolt and you won't spill a drop. Helps if you need to change the crush washer and don't want to change the oil
That's disturbing that water pump failed at only 80k miles.

As I recall, GM uses Dexcool, an OAT coolant which is an orangish color. That looked like the old green coolant which would be ethylene glycol. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

Hmm.. is it TIME to get an apprentice mechanic? When it gets to boring(as a mechanic) pulling all the junk off a car to get to the broken stuff maybe? The jerkiness of the handheld camera in this and many of your other videos is enough to make me dizzy and sick to the point of having to look away or turn the video of.
