Today, our customer brings to us this 2007 Ford Edge with the 3.5 litre v6 engine. with (90,205 miles on the ODOMETER)
The reported concerns with this 3.5 liter v6 Ford Edge is as follows, all the dashboard lights come on like a x-mas tree ‘dead battery/ charging system problem.?”,
Fluke 88 volt meter shows battery at 11.95 and alternator charging at 11.4 volts. ( these voltages are much lower than either one should be. ) voltages should be at 14.33 volts.
Scan tool shows multiple low voltage warning DTC’s for various modules. (R&I remove and replace – install new OEM – OEM Quality replacement alternator.). Remove and install radiator cooling fan assembly.
Remove and install intake hardware and ducting. Drain & suction coolant from over flow surge tank refill with new coolant.
