  1. I've dealt with plenty where its just fused beyond the trouble. You can almost never find just the bracket & the pins are seperate so you order in the whole assembly, steal the bracket & pins & send the junk bracket back with unused caliper for warranty. Parts stores here couldnt care less.

  2. You made me Laugh out loud with your Eric Estrada name, 🤣🤣🤣I named my son Erick for the same reason and my other son Marc Anthony like the Salsa Singer 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Greetings from Chicago Mr and Ms O. Keep the good work 👍

  3. A friend mentioned needing to replace his brakes and I recommended removing the brake fluid, opening the caliper halfway, and removing the rest before opening the caliper the rest of the way.
I have replaced brakes a couple of times, including on a Camry of this generation, but that is the one thing that I remember (which Shouty didn't mention) as I refamiliarize myself.
It was interesting to see you put your screwdriver in the caliper clamp, I usually see people using the old brake pad.

  4. a Scotty Kilmer Special heh. Everything else is an endless moneypit or a terrible gashog. the rust flying off that rotor as you hammered it gave me a headache. I love your little tips and tricks (the nylong brush on a drill is brilliant) that only come from years of experience. As a DIYer it is greatly appreciated.

You are incredibly transparent, I'd question any shop that tried to cut your work down.

  5. All the "youtube experts" can go suck a stiff one… everyone does things slightly different. Just because its not how you do it, doesn't give you the right to shit talk someone else who's done this his whole life and has his own business. The grease he uses is "BRAKE PARTS LUBRICANT"… Slide pins ARE parts. Silicone grease isnt going to last…the YouTube experts are the ones who cant work on a car themselves so they talk smack. I've done thousands of brake jobs, never had one fail. I grease the hell out of slide pins with purple grease, i grease the back of the pads, i soak the hell out of the rotors with brake cleaner to clean them off…got a problem with how i do my work? Come say it to my face.

  6. What tool do you use in this video to clean the hub face that goes over the studs? Is it the 3M or another brand? If it’s available on Amazon, can you add it to your store? Thanks!

  7. Were you really named after Erik Estrada? If so, that’s awesome! That would also mean that we are probably about the same age. Please keep up the great videos!
