In a previous video https://youtu.be/4lgpmQxohV0 we looked over a customers Toyota Prius that had the ABS and Trac light on as well as a concern about the grinding in the brakes. The parts are in and it’s time to get it put together.

  1. The way you did that brake line job on that Prius that's a hack job , especially how that bolt you broke off and normally on every one of your videos I see you correctly remove A broken bolt so not doing the job right that is just A hack job that you did on that brake line bracket Mr O you should be ashamed of yourself .

  2. I'm an auto tech myself and I know how easy it is, especially making videos. How caught up you can get And how Unprofessional you can become but The one thing about your videos I do like is you're very professional and you keep The jokes and language very clean for the young and old to enjoy the videos. Keep up the good work. May God bless you/ family and your business.

  3. I always love watching your troubleshooting vids but there was something extra satisfying about this one.
Maybe because of the range of tasks…and certainly the range of tools (Including flaring tool and double thumb machine!) and chemicals used;-)
Not in any real order..but…Fluid film, WD-40, Brake clean, Pin and bracket lube etc.etc.
Wished I were there alongside, helping.

    Well done Eric!

  4. I use all data but service data very cost effective as well. I have three yearly subscriptions and they are like $60 a year each. If you do work on your vehicles it pays for itself with one job. For me it was brakes. Even $1000 a year for a pro is cost effective it will pay for itself in a few jobs.

  5. 3 weeks ago. My sister in law called me to work on her van. They were down in our area of the woods. She sent me money ahead and I got the parts needed for a complete tune up and brakes front only. Because the local shop in her area said. Pads are good.
She said she only needed the rotors only.
They pull up and i start the brake rotors only task.
I pull the pads. They are heat cracked and rust jacked bad. I tell her. Dont ever go to that local shop ever. Maybe another 100 miles and you would have lost your brakes.
Even the back pads we're the same.
Mr O because of you. "I can do it"
    I followed everything you do.
I even found the rear brakes calipers pins rusted in place. It seems the last shop just slapped brakes and lube on the pins anywhere.
    Thank you Mr. O

  6. Thanks for the video but I have a issue in. 2010 Toyota Prius shows a code saying an strange object obstructing in the rear right speed sensor, there is no way to clean it because is sealed so o I have to replace the hub?

  7. Finally figured out why I'm getting so many bruises…you keep knocking me around and running into me. Good thing I wear glasses…I'd be blind as well! Man, you're dangerous to be around!😆😆😆

  8. cupro nickle we call it cupo for short all the factors inc the NAPA'sknow what we are reffering too as its a pretty standard way of replacing hard lines been doing it for years now

  9. Your wife is a smart gal, and funny. Walking backwards to the door so that nobody could look at her butt and make inappropriate comments on the internet. That's a gal who definitely understands how the internet works.
