    For reasons unclear, but eminently provocative, Maxwell’s — sorry, Murdoch’s — yacht, “The Lady Ghislaine” has recently been parked in a slip on the Potomac River in the District of Columbia. Four days ago — on October 16, 2025 — it went up in flames.

    Equally provocative is trump’s latest “stalking horse” path towards hiding his planned pardoning, as he did for most of the Jan 6 criminals, of Ghislaine Maxwell. On that path, trump’s seemingly boneheaded pardon of self-confessed-as-guilty criminal George Santos starts to make twisted sense: Santos is the “use once, then throw away” stalking horse. trump’s goal is to get Americans used to the idea of pardoning criminals, as he thinks he did in pardoning the Jan 6 criminals, and indeed, most of MAGA were just fine with THAT criminality. Now, with the not-even-piss-warm response to letting the Jan 6 criminals loose and springing the most ridiculous — and let me say it again: SELF-CONFESSED AS GUILTY — criminal George Santos, with nary a dissenting peep from the MAGA faithful, trump believes he can fulfill his promise to spring guilty-as-Haman Ghislaine Maxwell from her already-cozy less restrictive Texas prison “camp” in return for her keeping her mouth shut about ANYTHING to do with Jeffrey Epstein vis-a-vis trump. Her father’s yacht — named after HER, now going up in flames in DC — is a clear message to Ghislaine Maxwell — keep your mouth shut, and we’ll do “great” things for you. Talk, and you’ll face the consequences. Considering Ghislaine Maxwell’s past, and everything she knows about trump, and what happened to Epstein, this is no idle threat.

    Hell, if trump pulls THIS off, Ghislaine Maxwell will probably get a cabinet position.
