We decided to turn the Dexters out on spring pasture! The grass isn’t as tall as we’d like it to be because of a late spring, but calving season has started and we want them to be born on clean grass. In this video you’ll see how we move them from their winter yard to pasture, how and why we separate our bulls from the rest of the herd, how we manage spring pasture grazing, and meet our second calf of the season.
