14. it's much, much deeper than staffing issues. New Orleans prisons are essentially slave industries. Very little rehab goes on there check out "G street news network" channel to see 1st hand accounts from someone that did over 15 years in NO prisons. The stories and 1st hand accounts of the abuse done by Guards, Wardens and inmates is shocking. Not here to redirect traffic but you need to see the entire picture to understand why thiis happened. Most people go def when folks talk about prison reform but you need to understand the reality these people live in. One day your family member or someone you love could be locked up in one of these prisons and there is a good chance you will never see them again.
