20 thoughts on “Vehicle Is Not Charging: How Do We KNOW It Is The Alternator?

  1. I am in the middle of changing an alternator on a 2016 Cherokee with a 3.2L. I had vocational automotive training back in the 1980s and have been fixing my own stuff ever since, and this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. I spent almost 5 hours trying to get the top 2 alternator bolts out. I finally went and bought a flex head ratchet wrench and was able to get it out. Ugh.

  2. As someone who is just getting into the trade at 33 years old and have been having a tough time learning all the things to do with cars, thank you for the simplistic and incredibly helpful explanation. You've earned yourself a subscriber from this video alone, and i look forward to continuing watching your videos for a detailed, thorough and simple explanation as to how to do these tests. Thanks so much!!

  3. when you are using the wire probes for the u-scope, do you have to repair the wire afterwards? since you just punctured a hole in it? or can you just leave it
