31. …I was an addict for 25 years, ahh hell I'm still an addict but I have been clean for almost 20 yrs now. We tend to fuck over the people who care about us the most and it's a hard pill to swallow when you try to say you're sorry, I guess that's why it's one of the 12 steps from AA/NA. I hope these guys can work through the issues and get back to the friendship they had, it wont be the same but a friendship nonetheless. It's not you're fault Joe, it's all part of recovery and it comes with the territory. You have to see that by now.

You know i was an addict once and what kills me about this with tom is not only did he stab the dudes in the back that were trrying to help him but he was actively trying to become a licensed recovery coach but yet still using in my opinion he was only doing that to get as many leads to his needs as possible bcuz anyone thats been there would pick up on the fact ur using while trying to be there as a coach and a shoulder to lean on for ppl that rly want it and need it. And i get it ppl fuck up they slip but when ur trying to coach ppl through recovery you need to have been clean for a long ass time and proven that your not gonna let things put u back in thay situation again other wise your just leading ppl right back to addiction rather than recovery. I think tom can be a good hard working caring loving person but dude needs to take full on accountability for every one of his actions first and walk that road of busting your ass and fighting through the hell that comes with getting clean you gotta man up and face that shit head on and own it and then you. Can work on helping others once youve helped yourself. If you dont love yourself you cant love someone else. I wish the best for all 3 of these guys

49. I have been watching forever. Love your determination. I sometimes think you forget the real truth about addiction. You come at it sometimes as just personal failure. I’m an addict so sensitive issue
