We took the Murder Nova all the way to Rad Torque Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta for the Rocky Mountain Nationals—and let’s just say, it didn’t go how we planned.

We set the track record off the trailer but then we struggled, we made some changes, figured things out, and ended up out qualifying all the real promods!

…Then the sky opened up and the race got completely cancelled. 😑

This one had it all—struggles, redemption, fast passes, and of course, rain. Appreciate everyone that came out and supported us in Canada!

  1. Darlene, my two neighbors and I enjoyed meeting you and your crew at the Big Sky BBQ just south of Calgary just before the weekend of racing up at Rad Torque! We were unable to get there to watch due to other commitments we had. Look forward to seeing you guys along with Ryan and his crew again in the future.

  2. I'd look into the alignment and suspension to tight or to loose will make it shaky your faster bigger on everything and that changes suspension alignment to make it responsive to speed thats my 2cen

  3. Yall bring back the memories man. We had a whole season in a Pro stock car with a clutch and Linko trans man. My father had a paper that listed each step to follow and why to do it, but me and my father disagreed because his buddy disagreed with me!!!!!!! I actually told them to soften the static pressure because the track was sticky as hell plus we were taking power away to try to stop the shake LOL I told them they were backwards. By the end of the season the quarter panels on a trans-am was shook so bad you could see it breaking apart. Needless to say, I had to stop helping them since I had No say even though I took the trans out I took the clutch apart and I adjusted it!!!! HAHAH I did that and folded the parachute that was my job. Taking the car apart and trans then putting everything back together. I did most it man. I just wanted to be heard honestly.

Even if I was wrong we never tried my ideas. By the end of his second season I found out that they did figure out what was wrong… Take a GUESS…

IT HAD TOO MUCH STATIC PRESSURE HAHAHAH

Talk about a shitshow…. I never forgave him HAHAHA I started playing music with friends and went a different direction all because of that stupid clutch that in my case THEY SHOULD HAVE LISTENED….. I did wind up helping him in his last 2 season in a different car with an automatic. It was a 740CI Monster with 2 stages of nitrous. I still had a blast, but I still had to do all the work between rounds HAHAH… We ran 430s back in 2005 and 06 in an 1/8th mile track mainly at Edgewater quick 8 as well as London Kentucky and this place up in Xenia… HE NEVER LET ME DRIVE…. I miss it…. I CAN STILL DRIVE the wheels off anything I ever touched but me and my father do not speak much after all that.

  4. I’m in northern Alberta and have really enjoyed your channel since day one! Kept me going when I was overseas as well. Will attend your next Canadian event for sure if it’s in AB or BC. Keep those tires smoking!

  5. Big shout out to Chevy! That young Man & his race family are good peeps. So glad it worked out. The Canadian fans were AWESOME last year & deserved the treat. Excellent content as always. Mad Love 187

  6. I just want to say thank you guys for coming up here to Edmonton. I couldn’t afford to go this year but hopefully next year if you decide to come back. Thanks to Chevy for pulling it together. It’s so great you do all these videos for us.
