In this video I repair the front brakes on a customer’s 2018 Subaru Outback. It appears the brakes were recently replaced but the shop that did them did a very poor job to say the least. The pads were on wrong, nothing was lubed, and the rust build up on the hub face was pretty nuts. Let’s get this thing done and out the door the correct way!
-Enjoy!

  1. I am copying the vise grip idea from you 🙂.It can also be a shop, I just did my father outback brakes, with your help, and yep, the shop who did the brake job installed the pads upside down.

  2. I had the subaru dealer do mine last, and all 4 metal clips had the extra wings. Confused me since the replacement I bought only had 2 clips with the wings.

  3. It's not entertainment if everything I see you do just confirms all my experiences working on cars and other mechanical devices. Now I know it's just not me!
