The exhaust should actually be flush or just shy of the fitting in the back. Just fyi

watching your work and see you burnt your self, I know you won't try this but it works, If you get a burn take the white of an egg and apply it to the burn it will take care off the burn. Also if you happen to get a weld flash and it effects the eyes just put the egg white in your eye.
Wow we use the same cups and i drink my coffee it looks like the same, Thats a chevy style gas flange, my 62 chevy pickup had that type of flange, had the chrome cap and stacks on the old truck.
Stick the blister with a sewing needle sterilized with alcohol and let the juice out but leave the skin. Keeps it from burning, from the air.

oh I wish I would of been able to send text at the time, put the shifter in the big whole make a bracket to center it and make a plate to cover the whole.

I do a lot of work like you Fab is not an easy job to do but is very satisfying when done and the thanks I get is very much appreciated so I just want to tell you I really enjoy you shows and don't let the a holes bring you down .you do perfect work in my book .but I will say when you added the plate to bottom of beaver I would of used stainless carraige bolts but who cares what I would have done I wasn't there so Good bless and God's speed to bro have a good day in life as I'm sure you do.
