I wanted to point something out in regard to the key stock on the crank gear and trigger wheel. You may already do this?
Install the key stock into the crank with the taper facing out towards end of shaft (away from engine). This way the full thickness of the key stock fills out slot in the timing gear and trigger gear without any chance for the key stock to collapse or round off. A secondary advantage is the taper will aid in aligning the accessory pulley when installing too.
If possible i would just buy some correct size key stock and make one without any taper that completely fills out the channel on the crank shaft.
I work with machines making Ammo components and see these key stocks failing all the time. Typically from them not being long enough or the taper is under a gear or component that needs to stay put.

I cannot wait until we get hybrid in the aftermarket. For example the motors that are 2-300 hp that bolt between the engine and transmission and work as the starter, alt, reverse gear and extra power. I think that’s cool af.

Even stock you CANNOT re-use the head bolts. They are torque to yield bolts and are designed to stretch.
