Dude, if you don't like WD-40, then F you….lol
WD40 Cadillac disassembly tool😊 love your videos dude….. It’s nice having Mrs. O around too
Did I hear right, 15,000 miles and it needs a new engine? So that's like an extra 45 cents a mile on the previous miles! Don't want to know the cost.
Thats one sturdy engine support bar, brand info?
Also it does not matter if you are sponsored or not.
If you are great! If not then good.
Ppl can't just be happy we get great free content to watch. They just want something to complain about Eric!
You are in the customer service business as well. So you should know you can't make everyone happy.
Born and raised in Atlanta where cars are rust free
But now I'm further down south in Florida and the cars are even better
Watching your videos shows me how lucky I am
We have 30 year old chevy Ford and dodge and Toyota driving around with 500k and still chugging. Frame and body new like the first day.
I never buy a car from any state that snows. Never!
This is only related becuz its about a Cadillac… Escalade 08 put key in dash comes ro life turn key and nada in fact lights go out and gauges drop stop turning the key and it lights up again go tothe fuse box and itll turn but no spark at all just cranks before it s vacation it would drive for under a half hour and die and about the same amount of time later ot would start again until it wpuld die again please tell mw you know exactly the problem and exactly what I have to do to solve this issue for good just please help me on this one cuz i dont even want to start without having a clear direction to go in that will benefit the problem i m looking forward to hearing from you soon so i pray when i do the old girl will once again be at large in the streets unfortunately until then she will just continue to be like an out patient that should be in ICU lol😊
I can't get over how pristine that thing is. Wow!
The hole of the car seems to be in such good condition except the engine of course.
Eric, did you suggest to the customer to pull full maintenance on this car? Like raymond lube brick fluid obviously the radiator Fluid will be changed And the engine oil?
Thanks to WD we lubed it up and pulled it out…not a sponsor (yet)
Let me get my control arm tool. Geez. Is there any tool you don't have?
Suffering Sucketash.😂 I love it! Kids won’t know what that means. 🤣
Hack move 😂🤣😂 you're the man Eric OðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Ericc O, what happened to the Jeep yo you were b you building for yourself?
I know how clean or dirty a motor is or isn't has nothing to do with if it's blown or not but as clean as this car is it seems the owner takes really good care of it and doesn't dog it out so I wonder if that model just has a issue with their motors not lasting.
Dude. Water Displacement formula # 40 is great. …. Maybe a touch pricey. But not crazy $. Just not dirt cheap. And it works great for electrical contacts. Lubrication. ECT…
I definitely did this job in 2.5hrs out the top. Following the GM service manual is so tedious for no reason.
When Eric retires and brings his family to Florida (as you do), he will continue to work on cars just because they are rust-free.
I have watched you use that flexible long handled clip remover on a lot of different things. What brand/item number and where do you get one? Thanks!
There is still rust in Florida.
Spoiled mechanics live in Phoenix.
I'm surprised you didn't diagnose it to make sure it really needs an engine.
WD Shill 😮
No rust !! Mostly aluminum I thought Mr O was going organism awsome clean can buddy im glad for you it looked brand new almost lol I'm a body shop guy no beaf buddy fuck taping the under neath of the car you wouldn't either
Don't feel bad about people getting mad. It is funny when they get mad over stupid stuff. Life's to short and they just aren't happy with theirs.
I don't have anything against WD-40 I've just always liked Kroil.
I wold love to know how much this job costed ?
Definitely tell that car was engineered by Z Germans…rubber pucks on the driveshaft, suspension design, looks like the wifes audi…now all ya need is some triple squares…😆
Thank you for using the WD-40. We make part of it where I work. Also, you are supporting a local industry. We are not that far from you.
I never see the negative comments. Do you take them down? All I ever see are comments gushing over you. Like me! I learn so much.
I wish, engines had an ejection system, like you punch in a code, and pull a handle, maybe make it like a Nostromo's self destruct set up from Alien, agree to the prompt on the GPS info screen that says you promise there are no signs of life around the car by a radius of 500 ft, because God only knows where it will land just not on the vehicle itself, after all that the hood violently pops open, all the cables, and driveshaft bolts and all and yeah, the hoses blow off, and there's a 5 sec countdown and Blamo the damn thing shoots out! Lol, maybe that should be something only a mechanic can access with the owners thumb print, voice and retinal scan lol. Wouldn't that be nuts?
Ford's system would work too good but always the warranty would expire.
Chevys would work on their own, some times
Dodge would blow som hoses but would fail, but it's an easy fix that will last about 2 days.
Toyota would always want a software update,
Honda woul by funny and show a picture of Hawaii on the GPS screen before the engine ejection happens.
Tesla would get wind of this and add their own joke on screen as Ned from Jurassic Park "Uh Uh Uh, you didn't say the magic word" as the wheels shoot off with electric motors attached.
Nissan (or SinSan as I like to call them) would work only up to certain years that are 5 or 6 apart.
Hyunda would just copy everyone on have a wide range of issues.
GMC would work too good and often the vehicle would vomit itself inside out through the engine compartment because damn it, it's commerical grade! Okay this was fun but way too much thought went into this, what do I care, I'm retired.
WD40 > Kroil
Working hard on a complicated job, but still has the heart to acknowledge and pet the cat.
Mr. O. All business like, working through an engine replacement not seen before. Making decisions and setting aside service data. On a good direction. Self same Mr. O. employing kitty cat voice and including 'conversation' feels not any requirement to explain. Just a normal day in the shop folks.
TOO MANY ADDs
Judging by your cat's behavior, there are no mice in the shop, but the office is riddled with them. I could be wrong. Maybe the cat is just too civilized and wants the warmer office.
Your jobs require patience and wisdom…..
I’ve been hangin out and learning from you since approximately 1000-1100 subscribers. I like all your videos and comment on a few. I get a kick out of people that have seen a couple videos and assume you’re a sellout because you mention brand names or products you use. You’ve always said you don’t have or want any sponsorships. Keep being awesome Eric! I think if people just listened to you, it will become obvious how great you really are.
My dad used to say, "GM" junk, but I loved my '75 Pontiac Catalina and my '79 Pontiac Bonneville with the rear tire covers…Mrs. "O" 😆
I've never seen a car so clean underneath, what the heck?
Something's not adding up here?
It's amazing that the car is still worth enough to justify the repair cost.
Gawd – this car has more plastic, clips, doohickeys and geegaws than any other I’ve seen. What a nightmare to work on! Any clue as to why the original engine croaked at only 15K miles?
Sure doesn’t make me want to buy a Cadillac!
Ha ha. Ray only gets salty about cars that have been brought down from the great salty northeast.
