I installed Windows 10 and 11 side-by-side and some of these changes are not good! Upgrade at your own peril. .

  1. My favorite part of this video was making this MEME worthy. The 10 second TLDW; is @ 8:34
The first week has been wild… Intel chips look to perform the best so far, but AMD chips are lagging with about 15% performance loss, AMD said they will be patching this soon.

  2. Perfectly agree on that matter! Windows 11 – is RUBBISH, GARBAGE, a DowngradeOS, a DisappointmentOS. Its better to wait for the next OS which hopefully will be better. But Windows 11 – is epic fail and probably not going to get better.

  3. I don’t think gamers were the people who upgraded to win 11… we love that extra performance so that we can run our games better on cheaper hardware.

  4. before i get any further into the video starting off, i tried to stay with Windows 10 as long as i could, i finally made the switch to Netrunner Linux (based on Debian) because i was sick and tired of Microsoft constantly updating my video drivers and breaking them in such a way that they would turn off if i didn't stop everything i was doing to update everything, every, single, Day!

the Windows 10 blatant sabotage of AMD drivers, coupled with the fact that the updater outright said that they will not install Windows 11 on my laptop with a Ryzen 5 2500U from 2019, i am NEVER looking back, good riddance to bad garbage! 😀

edit: also, just gotta say this while it's fresh on my mind, @Chris_Titus_Tech, your Linux tutorials are super helpful, thank you good sir! o7

  5. Early adopting 11 (still have dual boot on some rigs) drove me to learning Linux properly. It's uneven where some things break on one machine after update while the other is just fine. Did so much debloating between 10 and 11, it's annoying AF.

  6. Guys, windows 11 is HORRIBLE. First of all I'm having a lot of problems on CPU management. Then this causes a lof of toruble on Battery!!! The speed of the laptop is very slow now comparing with windows 10! Really don't recomend anyone changing.

  7. For some reason my network speed in Windows 11 is absolute garbage. Large downloads in Steam are really really bad. I went through it today. Uninstalled my my virtual network adapters. reinstalled ethernet drivers, reinstalled chipset drivers, reset my network settings. I have gigabit here. I get what I would expect in Linux. Usually 750Mbps +. In Windows 11. I'm literally getting anywhere between 100Mbps to 200Mbps. This is ridiculous.

  8. Will this work for Win11 if I did decide to switch?

    Device name DESKTOP-M5V16G1

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz

Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.8 GB usable)

    Device ID 116877F8-8DB8-40C0-91D2-116A34F8F123

    Product ID 00325-80167-20367-AAOEM

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Pen and touch Pen support

  9. I upgraded when Windows 11 got released and everything ran pretty good with just minor hiccups, until today. I started my computer today and it was almost like a new set up, it was asking me if I wanted to connect my phone and also if I wanted Microsoft office and when I skipped through all of that and my computer started I had checkmarks and clouds all over my icons turns out OneDrive changed all its settings back to default and started downloading everything. Then I went into file explorer and on the left I went to click on downloads and as I ran my mouse cursor over everything there it started disappearing. Also when I plug in a USB drive it comes up doubled in file explorer. Luckily I keep all my games on a separate drive so going back to windows 10 isn’t that big of a nightmare so I do plan on upgrading back to Windows 10.

  10. Well, if they add otion for give back Win10 start menu like u have for move start menu on left I will consider install Win11, I like Win10 start menu because it is much beter organised, and its iritates me when I need to have 1-2 extra steps to find my apps, I made mistake when I upgraded to that MacOS clone. I dont feel comfortable with that Win11 start menu extra steps to find all apps I just want to scroll, and Tils also is nice for me. I just want that choice like most of us who are using Win10. And for performance issue thats true I got randomly turned off my PC during gamming.

  11. If it solves the :"microsoft software protection platform service" constantly hogging 30% of my CPU, it's more than worth it. So, I'll give it a try… because this sppsvc problem doesn't allow me to even use Premiere properly for a long time. So, what's a 2-3% of temporal decrease in comparison to 30% of constant decrease. Arrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh

  12. Been running Win11 on a 2700x, 5900x and i7-2600 for a couple of weeks now. My programs work just fine. No issues. And I did use a yt video for creating 4 registry keys to bypass tpm, cpu, and ram checks, and allow upgrades. They seem to be working. Why you might ask? I HATE Win10. Oh, I did a fresh install of all 3, that was the only way creating the registry keys would work.

  13. I'm personally gonna wait like a few more months until I upgrade to windows 11 when they fix all the bugs and uprage it a little bit

  14. so your only reason for opposing upgrading to windows 11 is because of the bloat/cpu use? anyone with a top tier PC would hardly feel any impact from that. and bloat can be easily removed.

  15. Oh no, the context menu. And the taskbar does not convince me either. But at least fix the context menu…
I switched to windows from linux on my home pc because of work and very marginally for games. I will go back to Linux in 2025 it this is it…

  16. 7 was hands down my fav, 8 was there attempt at android windows theme, they skipped 9 for some reason. 10 is standard but with tracking data included, 11 is them going all in on apple style restriction and intel being china levels of sabotaging there opponents.

  17. The biggest issue with the task bar is that you cannot dock it on the side with Windows 11, awful for people on ultra-wide monitor.
And on more regular aspect ratio monitors, like a laptop, you cannot dock it at the top, which doesn't work if you use software which have a lot of controls on the bottom as it is forever interfering.
In my case I have both. I run an ultra-wide on my tower, and I use CAD software featuring loads of controls at the bottom on my laptop, so Windows 11 is a non-starter from the get go.

  18. Nice and informative video.. I had a hunch over upgrading to windows 11 and this video speaks up my thoughts with a real life comparison. I am happy with Windows 10 as of now… Let Win 11 get better with time and would eventually switch over to it, once all the issues are addressed and bugs are fixed!

  19. A ton of people say they’ll just wait for Windows 12 to be released, hell Windows 11 is the last version of Windows for at least 6 years
