  1. It's not that you are a bad welder, it's that you can't see what you are doing. Wear the proper welding helmet soyou can see your work.

  2. Is Ray really a florida man? it took him a while to get through that cat. yes this is a joke. as someone who had a cat stolen off my f150 i now know how it was done lol

  3. We should all give Ford it's well deserved respect! 🙏🏽

Their willingness and dedication to always think of the industry as a whole.

They've proven themselves to be industry leaders in implementing innovative and creative ideas! All this to ensure mechanic bay occupancy, and to keep towing companies on the road!💪🏽

It doesn't stop there! Their dedicated to ensuring limitless opportunities for industry part manufacturers/distributors is unmatched!

    Thank You Ford! 💪🏽🙏🏽😆

  4. Ray,
Looks like you need a welding apron. I taught welding in a couple of tech centers, aling with Macine Tool & Automotive, but not at the Community College. They make pipe welding easier (fewer burns). If I were back at my shop in KY (in Venice now) I could give you full leathers (Jacket, Pants andApron) as I have several.

  5. Ray,
You can tell if s Fird spark plug is original look at the top of the plug terminal. If it has a light blue dot on the yop of the plug terminal it is sn original plug.

  6. The fact that you can buy the exhaust kit that replaces both sides for under $200 I'm amazed you opted to weld in one side rather than just replace the whole front section of exhaust

  7. Here in the U.K we used to have stuff called Gun Gum. It came in two forms, a paste and a bandage. Soak the bandage in water, wrap it round a leaky exhaust and it set like stone….for a while. Way better was the paste. When it set, it set like rock and was perfect for sealing up small holes in welds….which,, owing to not being a welder, I created quite a few. My welds were either good enough to hold two pieces of metal together, or good enough to burn a hole through two pieces of metal. Do you have such stuff over there?

  8. an idea for training for you is grab some scap exhaust pipe from either a junk vehicle or a vehicle that needs exhause. cut a bunch of 2 inch long peices and use them to practice welding pipe together all it costs you is time and consumable welding wire

  9. As a welder who was also an auto tech id like to say those welds are junk however it was horrible welds doing mostly stuff like like this (oh i definitely cut off bad cats and "replaced" them😉😉) and not understanding welding that encouraged me to go back to school after i got all my auto tech certs ive worked as a mechanic, welder fabricator and somehow i now work at a shipyard however im still my own mechanic. 2 things i would still love to take in school if i get the opportunity to go back would be autobody (i have a few projects that would really help if i knew body work especially paint but im slowly teaching myself) and machining

  10. Ah, that reminds me, never buy a FORD! Did once, regretted it like the day after, sold it and now I never want one… The direction indicator to the left flashed fast, it is a sign one of the lights is out. It is a Ford and many Euro-American thing, burning faster through lightbulbs than a gas tank worth driving…

  11. Please show completed projects working properly if that means you need to cut then come back to show fixed vehicle on final test drive to keep vids shorter??? Just my thoughts because it’s like a climb then no climax
    Thanks For the VIDS
