  1. Mustie, a pressure washer takes time for the water to "eat" away the dirt. If you just keep moving it it will not be very effective. Slowly move the water jet and let it do the work. Janky movements ruins the effectiveness.

  2. Wow, awesome score. I'm always amazed at what people will throw away. As the old saying goes, one man's trash is another man's treasure..
Some people just have more dollars than sense. Thanks for sharing…

  3. You must use a flip phone, I haven’t seen a gps unit like that in years! Nothing wrong with a flip phone though. This tech is too much now a days

  4. Nice free mower. FYI: Please buckle your belt even on short hops between yard sales. Air bag & no safety belt = bad news. Also start using your RIGHT hand to open door from inside vehicle. That way you will NEVER miss a passing vehicle as you will have a better view of the road & automatically see a view of the mirror. ( you have a family) later.

  5. Makes me scratch my head. A guy spends that much money on a mower, and throws it onto the trash pile because he overfilled it 3/4" with oil. Unbelievable!

  6. Having taught myself about cars and small engines, it is amazing to me that people will throw perfectly good machines away and spend money unnecessarily on new ones simply because they refuse to learn anything about them. I worked at a salvage yard for several years, and saw many perfectly good cars junked due to minor and easily repairable problems, simply because the owners never bothered to learn anything about cars. I am certainly no expert, and certainly do not Mustie's level of knowledge, but engines are incredibly simple if you take the time to learn.

  7. I'm looking for a Craftsman bag for my push mower. I just recently found out they made about 200 different styles of connecting them to the mower………ughhhhh. Not to mention my area is sucking for used cheap mowers.

  8. Overfilling with oil can break things. My late step father in law poured a whole quart in his lawnmower and broke a valve in it and wore the cam lobe off the cam. I got the extra oil out when I caught it but the damage had been done. The extra oil causes foam and bubbles in the oil which reduces its cooling and lubricating qualities. I fill everything to the full mark but not over this mark. If I accidentally overfill it I just dump the extra out into the same oil pan I dumped the oil out.

  9. Its amazing that people has no idea the simplest thing can cause problems and throw it away. There's nothing wrong with it and a tiny fix good as new. They spend money on stuff that they didn't have to. Win for you.
