It’s a beautiful day to cut hay with the Farmall 756 diesel and the International 990 haybine!

Ya those German D-310, D-358, have a Snorty' sound.! Sound even more distinctive from a distance;! And very Economical;
I've pretty much decided that this is my current favorite among your videos. I haven't watched all of them yet, so I suppose it may change. I'm sorta one of your gearhead fans, although I'm nowhere near as good a mechanic as you. But I learn so much from the restoration videos that they're second on my list, right behind the fieldwork. This one is excellent because it has a cool mix of you doing the work, showing it from various angles, and reflecting on why it makes you happy. Quite nostalgic for an old field hand like me-
cutting hay when the conditions are right is peak happiness, eh? This was a couple of years ago and I'm just one voice among 503K subscribers, but I kept hoping you would remark on whether you got out there in time to beat the orchard grass going to seed. It looked like that to me, given the early-season sunny spell. We had the same problem with orchard grass on our place, and it was always a race to beat the orchard grass to the punch! Thanks for a super tractor ride and for your evident joy-I know the feeling!~~Jeff in CTHey Pete we always have to be aware of the fawns laying down deep in the standing hay, they don’t move until your on them. They are so cute I just hate the thoughts of hitting one with the hay-bind. We enjoy hay season, it’s just nice to get out on the tractor and the smell of fresh cut hay. Thanks for the video Pete and love the drone shots from above.
👍👍👍😊
I agree Pete the 756 does sound good, nice crisp exhaust is the sound of a healthy engine. We have a 656 and we use it for hay also. Thanks for the video. 👍👍👍😊
Do you fertilis you fields
Your funny. Good sense of humor. Love it. 👍
I had a 756 diesel. Best IH tractor I ever owned.
I loved haying with my grandfather and his cows. Samson and Delilah produced pretty calf’s. Thanks. Love the content.
You sould get a discbine cut alot faster
6 cylinders are such sweet music to the ears .
Do you have to have a special license to fly you drone that. How high is it generally ????
Nice 756
What’s the difference between a 706 and a 756
Man would I love a nice big tractor to run my haybine, I have a NH 477 7’ that I run with my Farmall H, man that tractor struggles, I just got a 424 diesel, I hope that runs its a bit better than the ol H
7:02 the joy ofc changing sickle guards and sickles!!!
thx
How did you get your land to start with small acreage
Wow. What a amazing video of the farm!!That tractor does sound nice keep up the good work guys!
Pete, your drone shots reveal a new angle to your process of creating this tremendous, my favorite, picture. By the way, this video, I’ve watched it at least twice, reminds me of my dad and mowing the lawn at the house I grew up in. Dad, mean as he was, taught me a great life lesson. After about age 14, he never had to ask me to mow. We had quite the process, again, another life lesson. Thanks for the memories, Pete!
real farming –what a dream (no million dollar combine………)
Great video. Now if you could just get the smell of new cut hay with the video it would be perfect!! When i was in highschool i worked on a large dairy in southern Wisconsin. We had a 766 as the big tractor. The 766 did it all, plowing with a 4 bottom plow, disking and even chopping. When i farmed with my brother-in-law we had a 966 hydro and a 1086. We aldo had a 574 utility loader tractor and for the really tough jobs we had a Super A! The 966 hydro was great for planting and picking corn and it did a great job at burning fuel! Thanks for taking us along.
I enjoy your videos. Brings back memories of my Dad.
Wonderful video. Well done sir!
