I Bought a V12 Mercedes SL600 at auction for $4,100 and when it showed up I was pleseantly surprised. That lasted literally 10 driving miles home, where we had a major breakdown, and something that will likely be the demise of this entire car… Plus I bought a super cheap C63 AMG, and its exactly what you would expect to show up!

  1. As a paint striper we use accumulators on our striping trucks. Some are sealed. Some you fill with nitrogen to a specific psi. We have accumulators over 10 yrs old. Seem to me you could find a different brand accumulator without that failure point. The one shown looks like the newer ones we use. They fail constantly and we replace them. Usually from the bone yard off an old truck we use for parts.

  2. 💯% delete the abc. No question. Saves over 100lbs in weight too. Can delete it from computer so no codes. If you can find that go with a mono tube gas shock, a standard gas shock, in a coilover. Problem with most coilovers is that they're single valve type, meaning that the suspension shock is only good at negotiating one very specific type of bump. Everything else it will be the wrong valving, and be harsh and horrible. It's gas shocks unless you can go to five-way adjustable valving at $10k+.
