Come spend a day with me on our (very wet) farm! We have broiler and layer chickens out on pasture, broiler chicks in the brooders, and layer pullets in the winter house. The mamma cows are very pregnant, and we’ll look at who is the furthest along. Given the weather, we have been focusing on “non-fieldwork” farm activities, and today I’m doing maintenance on the Farmall H. Later (after another rain), I replace the breakaway hydraulic couplers on the Farmall 856, and spend some time explaining how they work, using a disassembled coupler for reference.
