There are many tax breaks available to small farms! In this video I review the importance of filing a Schedule F, Federal small farm income tax deductions, sales tax exemptions, and the many state programs for small farm property tax reduction. Taking advantage of these tax breaks can make a huge difference in the profitability of your small farm!

Great info i am ready to use this knowlage
Great info. We are so used to being slaves to the state we can't even remember being free.
Pete, great information on tax breaks and programs! You’ll awesome!
HOW MANY ACRES ARE YOU OPERATING ON?
How do you get grants just got 35 acres
Do a video playing the guitar and Banjo in the background.
As an LLC, do you file your Schedule F with your personal 1040 or with the 1065 for the LLC? Thank you!
Pete in East Texas counties require 5 yrs before approved ag exemption and county by county some require at least 10 acres. Encroachment by Houston and Dallas makes land prices elevate. Don’t wait to buy land buy land and wait. Thanks
This information was excellent!
Thank you so much!!!
Another great video for farmers from Pete. With all the paperwork it's a miracle there's any time left to do the actual farm work.
Hi Pete! thank you so much for the great info. Looking to start a farm in Delaware county NY, and thinking about legal structure.
Attorneys tell me to hold land and business in separate entities for liability purposes, but then I won't be getting the property and other tax benefits of farm right…?? so wondering what you would recommend . Also any experience you have with agri tourism , I saw that NY state signed some laws into action reg agri tourism in 2006 so maybe we can set up rental cabins on the farm to educate the public and to be able to add rental income from cabins to help the farm sustain itself. I could not get any answers on that as well as any grant info for new farms. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you !
I really appreciate you making this video for us. You seem like a smart dude. Well spoked and articulately delivered presentation.
I live in Washington, so I have alot of research to do in order to have my property registered for agricultural useage. It seems as though per an RCW, the county assessors office has to help me through the process of re-classifying my land. Any idea how much this will save me every year if I pay $7,800 in property taxes currently?
This was so unbelievably helpful. We're starting a small farm just a couple of miles from you, and I've had so many questions about all of this.
Extremely helpful for small farmers, ranchers and tree/forest producers/farmers.
Thank you a bunch ….great information!
Was able to expand our farm last year and excited!
we have been raising a small group of chickens. Can we go back and file the schedule F now that we know about this? Also, we want to change our zoning to AG like some of our neighbors, do we have to file a schedule F before we can file for a zoning change?
Great info. I wish we didn't have to make decisions based on taxes but the politicians love to have control by taking from us and then giving a little back.
Why dose the government control people n what the own like that’s not their roll as government
Execellent video, I’m a 50 year farmer, farming 500 acres , check everything out, it worth while, Pete your doing a great job, my wife and started with 10 acres, we’re from north east Okla.
