I would love to see your parts organization system. I would not remember where everything goes.
Never good to Putt-Putt your tractor around.
I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm watching the whole convenient 856 playlist. I've done a good deal of maintenance on the letter series Farmalls from time to time. This new tractor is way out of my league, but I can think of no one better than Pete to teach this old retired guy where all the nuts, bolts, oil, fuel, and hydraulic hoses go, not to mention the wiring. I love learning all this stuff and of course Pete makes it feel like we're hanging around in his shop while he tells us what's what. The restoration series are superb, although fieldwork with the machinery is my favorite. I usually didn't have a great deal to do with our livestock, but with Just a Few Acres the animals have grown to be important to me. Fascinated by their differing personalities! Blessings ~~Jeff from CT
How can you remember how things go back together?
City girls here. Why do tractors have to be so big and powerful?
Where does your gauge relair
Back tires are nice..the front? not so much.
What manual or information do you refer to when you undertake a job like this?
I'm thinking of redoing a1958 massive Ferguson 35 on my channel And I want to be sure.
That I have all of the information to do of the job. So I can have quality videos.
The continual case of…"always one more thing to do/cut."
I love your videos I watch them almost every day. Have you made any new videos and have your body new tractors today
how do you remember what go where when putting it back together?
That tractor is going to be so nice when you are finished rebuilding it. 😊
Outstanding Craftsmanship! Pete!😇!😇!😇!
So after watching your channel for about a month it is my guess that your worked your way through college as a mechanic for and IH dealership. Tip of the hat to your in-depth knowledge. Great channel
Pete, I don’t know how in the world you can ever get this 856 back together, but i know you can. You are a talented guy.
Successor to my favorite tractor that I operated: 1967 806 Diesel. It could pull 6-16s with ease in central IN.
✌️👍👌🫶♥️🇨🇦
Cannot wait to see it fully restored and sparkling
how do you remember where everything goes? big zip lock bags?
I can never figure out how you remember where every nut and bolt goes when you put it back together..
Hi Pete, Is that the tractor you bought at the auction ?
15:58 Dad joke incoming.
I just had to add, the Dad joke cracked me up. Hahahah Thanks for the laugh Pete.
Oh this is exciting getting to see a great tractor being made better. Love your videos, thanks for sharing.
Pete, I’m about to tear down a 49 H. What’s your system for organizing all the bolts, nuts, and pins you pull off?
❤❤❤❤❤
Hi guys how you all to day hope you doing well bye
Really enjoy your videos. Will be following the 856 refresh/restoration intently, I have an 806 that needs the same treatment. Regarding the top cover over the final drives, check out Andy Fromm's video where he redid the 3 point lift cylinder.
peet I love the way you do these repairs not just here and there but a proper job
You’ve created a monster 😂😂 all my grandson talk about is Farmall tractors. He’s found an old 806 and wants to restore it.
I've always enjoyed working on equipment and actually made a very good living from it years ago but it's not as much fun as it used to be so I'm enjoying watching you do it 😊👍
That's a very ambitious project Pete. I know it's a labor of love because i watched your other restoration videos.
Enjoyed your time very much. Thank you for sharing this with us 😊
I just purchased an 856 Custom last year! My first tractor I personally owned. It's in pretty good shape, but has minor things I'd like to do. So excited you're doing a resto on an 856. 😀 One of my favorite channels already, now doing something I REALLY need the insight for! It's entertainment and it's educational. It's like PBS, but better. 😉
Fun video Pete,thanks brother,peace…
Awesome possum Pete its restoration TIME BEEN WAITING FOR YOUR WINTER PROJECT!!!!
how do you keep track of where everything goes?
That’s a lot of work to get free candy from parts house.
Love the tractor stuff, keep up the good work, and tell Hilary she is a big part of your show too, hang on to that hard working Woman,
I’d go ROPS with a canopy or just regular open station!
