  1. Wow dude, car wrenching videos are a dime a dozen and I appreciate them all as much as the next, but your filming style and how you get down in the engine bay and really highlight key components is top notch. Well done 👌

  2. Excellent!! Thanks for being so thorough. I'm removed everything in one continuous chain, from master cylinder to slave cylinder. My 2008 Honda Fit seems to have a midline dampener. Should that be disassembled and cleaned if I plan to keep it?

  3. I have a question, as I'm working through the final steps of a motor and transmission change: I'm using a motor and transmission from one Honda Element in another Element with the same motor and transmission. I replaced the clutch while I had the chance, and after reassembling everything, I find the transmission won't shift into second gear while it does shift into all the others, including reverse. I found the fluid coming out of the slave cylinder was bad and definitely needs changing, and after inspection, decided that I should replace everything. I'm wondering if the new clutch line can run straight to the fluid reservoir without the rubber hose, or if it's necessary to have the hose for whatever reason. I'm also gonna change the trans fluid and see if that will stop the shifting issue because it wasn't happening when I was driving the car that the transmission came from.Thank you for the detailed content, your videos have been essential viewing while doing the motor change….

  4. Hi i have a 96 cd7 accord, only problem with the clutch is high rpm (above 2,5k – 3k) causesmy clutch to lose almost all pressure, even in neutral. normlal driving is geat otherwise, can anyone tell me what do i do?

  5. Its been three months and only just under 800 likes. This video and your channel deserve more attention. Let's all share so we can get eric back on track to be a youtube powerhouse!

  6. Im doing this on the Fit today out in the cold. Looks like the only way to get it out is all in one piece. Master and slave and lines and brackets. Its tucked way up in their and you can batrely even see it.

  7. eric i need help. i couldnt get that pin out and ended up fucking up the hydraulic line(and still never got the pin out) the oem line is discontinued, where can i get a line like that that isnt $100?

  8. Timely stuff – my 2005 CRV clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there on the way to work today. I managed to limp it home in first.
I’ll be doing this job on Saturday!

  9. Eric, Love your stuff. I recently purchased a 5-Speed 2007 Honda Element and am looking to have the clutch replaced along with the master and slave cylinders. On the Element Forum. some folks have talked about replacing the OEM Element CMC (that is designed with the delay shifting valve) with an 2001-2006 Civic CMC for the same reason you went the K-tuned CMC on your Element (no triangle delay assembly valve on CMC). Also, several folks have had problems with one of the three assembly bolts on the OEM Element CMC failing, leading to immediate clutch failure and requiring install of a new CMC. Have you heard of this type of swap for the CMC (Civic for original Element)? I wouldn't mind better performance with additional reliability. Thoughts?

  10. This maybe the sign to replace the clutch master on my 1997 honda civic, i got also the clicking noise, and it's so annoying, i can literally remove the clicking by adjusting the pushrod without having any play but the pedal feels is not my liking😅 so i'm just gonna replace the master like you Eric cause i'm so annoyed 😅
